I scraped away the heavily flaking bits and mixed up Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint in Typewriter for the chalkboard inserts.
No Bonding Agent needed, this door was WAY too dry!
I randomly rubbed Miss Mustard Seed's Bees Wax onto the exposed wood grain and on corner and seams.
Whenever I want heavy duty chipping I break out the MMSMP Beeswax, the stuff is GOLD for a perfect chippy finish. I also worked outside in the sun which I believe helps the process along.
And here is gorgeous Grain Sack ready to go!
When working on a more stubborn top layer of paint a damp cloth or sandpaper may be needed.
