It's a shame what a throw-away society we've become.
So when the upcycler in me spotted a dresser abandoned on the side of the road,
in perfectly good shape...well, I did the obvious, didn't I?
Of course, what I forgot to do is take "before" photos.
Almost anything can be made beautiful again with a little TLC.
This girl was painted with Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint in Ironstone
and allowed to go chippy — which she did perfectly —all on her own.
(I think she did it so beautifully because she was grateful for her new life!)
Next up the For The Love Creations artist in residence (my niece Jill!)
hand-painted this gorgeous bird-and-branch motif.
We finished off with Hemp Oil, Furniture Wax and some
perfectly fantastic vintage reproduction glass handles.
